Traditionally Changeover has occurred at the end of June however in 2014 this event will be part of our District Conference allowing Phil to review his year early and to thank those who contributed, and to award those who made a huge difference.  The transfer of the chain of office to Bruce will be symbolic as the year will of course run to 30 June.

The combining of the two events is the first of its kind in 9910 and is the prerogative of the Governor who has a commitment through later June which will mean he is out of NZ.  It is likely that Bruce, as incoming Governor, will hold a more timely event in Auckland as his year commences, and at which the formal handover of responsibilities will take place.
